The going rate

Postby Dave » Thu Oct 20, 2011 6:39 pm

What's the going rate of a freelancer? Say for a week time of work? I imagine it'd cost a pretty penny, but I want to know what the best freelancers charge for a week amount of work.

It depends on what you're doing. A freelance bookkeeper will probably have different rates than a high end freelance graphic designer with 20 years experience for example. Rates can vary tremendously.

For a one week job you could charge anywhere between $400 and $4,000 or more. What is the job?

It really depends on what the job is. There is such a wide range!
