So have you considered how you are going to approach doing your taxes for your business income this year? Do you hire someone to do it or do it yourself?

I've always done my own taxes but I know what I'm doing, too. I took courses in college for tax prep, accounting and business management. I had intended on doing tax prep as a side business but decided against it.

I haven't done my own taxes, but I would like to. What courses would I need to get enough knowledge to do them? How would I keep up with any changes in tax law. I wouldn't want to get into any trouble with the IRS.

I think that the IRS has a program for people who want to volunteer to help people fill out their tax forms. I don't recall the name of the program but they put you through some good training.

I would never try to do taxes myself because there are so many laws that you need to be aware of. I would rather hire a professional to get this done. I would hate to make a costly mistake!
